The inventory and Logistics controller is primarily responsible for:
1. Ensuring the sanctity of organization’s stock at all locations including warehouse and sales locations; to highlight areas where overstocking of items may happen due to inadequate focus from the operating divisions.
a. While the custody of stock at sales location will remain the purview of the concerned sales department, the inventory controller will have the authority to check and question the safe keep and movement pattern of the goods at these locations.
2. Organize the storage and distribution of goods by ensuring the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a lowest possible cost from all the company' locations, whether in Bahrain or overseas.
3. Covering areas of transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
4. Tracking external influences such as legislation e.g. customs rules, Sanctions on countries etc.
