Sales Manager:
Specifics about the role:
- Ideal candidate needs to have diverse skillsets and be multiple disciplinary
- Strong technical background & sales motivation with ideal initial experience in sales
- Needs to be able to speak to external clients about technical concepts - not in detail but to show customer advantages (strong technical background needed)
- Needs to do substation assessments and audits as well as risk reviews and take this as a chance to sell and develop business
- Service portfolio very broad: maintenance, spare parts, retrofit, brown field, consultancy etc.
- Entrepreneurial spirit is key
Tasks:
- Responsible for sales in Bahrain market from early pursuit phase until the final negotiation, contract signature and handover to execution team
- Work out the sales strategy for the tenders by selecting the winning solution, both commercially and technically
- Able to develop RFQ’s with customers
- Responsible for achievement of annual Sales Budget with required gross margin and risk mitigation in line with Business Unit strategy
- Understand and promote the substation service portfolio both internally and externally.
- Develop a network of customer and supplier contacts in order to increase market knowledge and ease future business models suited for the Swiss market
- He/she will be responsible for generating enquires for substation service products. Promote diverse service product portfolio such as retrofitting solutions, consultancy, maintenance, spare parts and so on and generate business from various customers for bay augmentation, extension and upgrades along with costing of project
