Job Description:
• Analyze the reasonableness of product & manufacturing costing, drill down to the root and report to the management for any area of improvement.
• Follow up with respective departments regarding cost saving improvement.
• Prepare Monthly Costing Reports.
• Prepare Departmental Costing & Productivity Report / Department / Person.
• Forecast the requirements and plan, implement and monitor the production schedule.
• Make efficient utilization of the available sources for production.
• Allocate work as per worker capabilities and grade in coordination with HODs.
• Ensure timely production to meet delivery timelines.
• Ensure physical stock tallies with the system and there is no unrecorded movement of stock.
• Monitor CAD output and various activities including casting, fabrication, polishing and electroplating.
• Conduct regular checks and ensure quality control.
• Reduce in-process rejections and maintain Total Rejection (TR) as per company standards.
• Prepare manpower planning and work with HR to ensure availability of workforce.
• Suggest areas of improvement like new and effective methods of dust collection.
• Regularly update and report to the Management.
• Build team spirit among the workers and motivate them to increase productivity.
• Improve the productivity level of the workers on continuous basis by providing training.
• Guide workers for methods of production and in case of any technical issues.
