Description
- Establishing sound procurement & supply chain management policies & procedures, ensuring adherence to these, based on leading practices and required regulatory guidelines
- Coordinating on user requirements, and vendor identification & development, including preparation of relevant documentation, communication, negotiation, award & contracting process as well as supporting management of contractual issues (post award) as and when required
- Ensuring best in class supply chain management for the client to plan for, procure, transport, and store all necessary equipment, goods and consumables required to ensure smooth operation of the facility/organization
- Ensuring fulfillment of all of the client's time, cost and quality objectives in the process of managing the above
- Staff acquisition and performance development for the Procurement function
- Any other related duties, as may be assigned by the top management from time to time.
Profile
- Bachelor or Masters in Commerce/ Supply chain management or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years working experience of which at least 5 years as managerial level
- Experience in either Health care sector
- Experience as part of a start up team within the Procurement/Commercial function
- Previous Qatar experience required
