Description
- As a member of the Real Estate Investment team, participate in all aspects of making Private Equity Real Estate investments on behalf of the bank's balance sheet and its funds under management- The Real Estate Investment team has made investments during the last 12 months in the United States, Turkey and the GCC and expects to continue to focus on the GCC and the United States- Maintain relationships with deal sourcing channels and screen incoming leads- Carry out proprietary due diligence and manage third-party financial-, legal-, tax-, physical- and other due diligence- Participate in the negotiation of transaction terms- Review and participate in drafting legal documents- Participate in the post acquisition management of the investments
Profile
5 - 12 years of professional experience (role and level will differ based on experience), with a significant part of this professional experience in one of the following fields:
- Real estate investment, particularly in the acquisition of income producing real estate assets in developed markets such as the United States, Western Europe, Singapore, Hong Kopng, etc.- Real estate capital markets function with an investment bank or a leading real estate advisory and brokerage firm- An "acquisitions" role with a property management firm, real estate developer, or fund manager with in-house real estate acquisitions team. This experience needs to be in a developed market (e.g. North America)- An "asset management" role in a property firm as described in point 1.c. above- Working for a REIT- Real estate corporate finance advisory role
Extensive experience in evaluating investments
Strong skills in financial analysis of investments (Excel financial modeling, Argus, financial statement analysis)
Would be advantageous if the candidate has investment experience in both the Middle East and North America or Europe
Experience in review of legal agreements used in investment transactions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
