Group Manager Operations will be working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop, manage and execute operational plans within specified geography and within the country, based on strategic plans, in order to achieve efficiency targets.

The Group Manager Operations will have the following duties:

MAIN DUTIES
- Discover new market opportunities and market locations to drive business growth. Responsible for driving growth in business volumes through various products and services.- Spearhead special projects and other responsibilities as typically required for a rapidly growing Company as directed by the COO.- Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place, updated and continually tested in each country. Liaise with IT Head to ensure the BCP is aligned with the DR Strategy.- Work with IT Head to ensure that the IT infrastructure and performance is to required levels in each country.- Establish safety and security measures in accordance with best industry practice and to the local regulatory requirements so that the Company's assets and staff are secured.- Liaise with the Compliance Head and external bodies such as Ministry of Interior to train the security staff so that they are well trained with safety and security measures.- Aid in establishing a risk framework and action plan in each country and sit on specific Risk and Compliance Committees.- Set-up procedures and ensure the cash-in-transit employees follow the safe pick-up and delivery of cash and valuable cargo to various destinations.- Oversee the day-to-day function of the cash in transit and dealing support units operation.- Liaise with the branches to ensure they have effective resources for the daily operations of the business.


Profile

The Group Manager Operations must have the following
- EDUCATION & TRAINING


Bachelor's Degree (B.A) in Business Administration or equivalent course from an internationally recognized university.
- EXPERIENCE


Minimum 7 years' experience in managing multi-cultural, geographically dispersed operations of which 5 years should have in a managerial capacity.

Strong background in operational efficiency, change management and process improvement.

Proven ability to build high-performing, high-morale, self-managing teams that function well in complex environments.

Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, negotiating, presentation and organizational skills are required.
