Job Summary:
Title: Controls Project Manager (BPM)

Scope & impact of the position on the organization:
Trane offers a range of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and HVAC control solutions to complete its HVAC products offer. These controls solutions are based on an Ethernet BACnet / Lontalk architecture and include controllers, Servers, Webservers, and Workstations.
This range of product is known under the name of Tracer System.
The Controls (BAS) Project Manager will have to manage the fulfillment of Controls (BAS) projects on all jobs, sold in the Middle East and Africa region, by local Trane Sales Engineers.
The mission for this person will be to do BAS (controls) project Management for the area.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering Controls Project on scope, on time, on schedule, in line with Trane standards of Quality and Safety
Achieving Customer Satisfaction
Complying to Trane Standard Controls Project Fulfillment Process (including tools & project documentations)
Participating to the project design in coordination with the BAS Project Coordinator,
Handing over from Sales to Fulfillment, Customer validation of scope (Submittals), Planning, Coordinating execution and close-out, as well as promoting change orders & additional work during the life cycle of the project.
On site project management (customer meetings, Trane fulfillment resources (BPE, BST) sub supplies, subcontractor’s coordination…)
Checking the Quality on site (Programming, testing and commissioning done by BAS project Engineers & Technicians).
Delivering technical support to all Trane and distributor Project engineers and technicians for commissioning, programming and trouble shooting of control (BAS) projects in the region.
Delivering training to Trane and Distributor Project engineers and technicians on HVAC systems, HVAC controls BAS integrations and related subjects.
This person will work in close coordination with the IDX Controls Team Leader and the MEA Technical Manager (Dubai, MEA Headquarters), in charge of developing the BAS Project Fulfillment capability in the countries.

Profile:
Degree/ Diploma & Experience:
- Degree (Bachelor) in Controls, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and/or Physics and/or Electronics.
- 3 to 5 years experience within a Controls company, a System-integrator or an HVAC contractor.
