 Organize the mechanical personnel work and assure efficient utilization for the resources

 Distribute the departmental work and prioritize it in daily basis

 Master the maintenance procedures that he can provide helps in sophisticated case

 Ensure preventive maintenance for compressors is being followed

 Ensure preventive maintenance for belt conveyors is being followed

 Ensure lubrication schedule is being followed.

 Make sure of the preventive maintenance of the equipment

 Propose shut down planning and required activities

 Share the spare parts studies and procurement activities

 Study the needs for small projects and manage them till execution and commissioning

 Make the plan and strategy to achieve plant KPI's under his responsibility

 Scheduling and planning for maintenance activities

 Lead the root cause analysis team to solve problems

 On-site training for his team

 Write technical reports needed to reflect the section efforts

 Coaching his team for risk assessment and the proper action in maintenance activities

 Participating in setting the department budget through identifying expected expenses.

 Defining and executing plans for development and increasing productivity.

 Controlling expenses and keeping it within the set budget.

 Raising the technical performance of the section.

 Issuing regulations, technical and administrative decisions for achieving plans and programs which complies with the approved authorities and responsibilities.

 Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and work flow, discussing their suggestions and taking suitable actions accordingly.

 Preparing periodic reports with respect to the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review.

 Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company.

 Identifying training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned employees in the HR & Admin Department.

 Following-up employee affairs including vacations, leaves …etc.

 Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company.

 Nominating a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position in case of absence or whenever the need arises.
