1. Ensure implementing the safety & Environment rules by section workforces and good understanding of the safety & environment policies.
2. Ensure & following daily managing of all requirements for carrying out all mechanical maintenance jobs according to priorities, cost, resources availability, skills & tools, co-ordination & supervision through CMMS system.
3. Ensure & follow availability of all material (stock & non-stock spares) & work resources for mechanical planned jobs in both quantity & quality terms.
4. In coordination with mechanical maintenance execution; assure & follow preparations of the weekly & annually miner & major shutdown schedules according to WR priorities, operation priorities, resources availability & other department's constraints.
5. Ensure & follow preparation of weekly & monthly performance; tasks followings; CMMS; chronic & failures impacts; Maintenance expenses & cost KPIs reports.
6. Ensure & follow SOPs implementation to improve equipment performance & longevity using CMMS.
7. Share in co-ordinate & facilitate analyzing, eliminate causes & find solutions for frequent & isolated incidents & following RCA teams performance.
8. As required prepare investments opportunity & visibility studies, prepare CAPEX budget & investment implementation.
9. studies recurring problems of equipment reliability or problems relating to safety and work conditions
10. Follow availability of mechanical spares stock in terms of quantities & qualities.
11. Update & validate the equipment technical documentations including specifications data sheets, equipment data log, parameters records, drawings…etc.
12. Share in prepare maintenance budget, manage OPEX & optimize the deviations.
13. Report maintenance department mechanical expenses & optimize them according to maintenance budget.
