Operates assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
Maintains defensive driving.
Keep assigned vehicle clean inside and outside.
Keep all the related truck documents in safe place in the truck.
maintain accurate up to date records on trip sheets, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchase report, accident report, vehicle condition report and other records that are necessary for information of the management.
Perform minor maintenance task on assigned vehicle as required.
Fuels the assigned vehicle as required.
Coordinate the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions.
Perform other related duties assigned by Department Head or Line Manager.
Before loading operations are starting all the trucks system should be check; it has to work properly set and suitable to load.
The vehicle engine should be check regularly to avoid problem during the delivery trips; all the ordinary maintenance should be plan in advance and have to be done out of the working time.
Divers and helpers should straightly respect the traffic rules of Qatar, fastening the safety belt, never using the mobile phone during the drive, and necessary stop in parking area to call, and respecting the speed limits, and road permit timings.
In case of any accident during the delivery the drivers should inform immediately to his Line Manager and police.
Drivers should participate to the loading of truck, counting and verify the exact quantity (number of items), the status of the goods and help to position the cargo properly, it is full responsibility of the driver the stock loaded inside the truck, so of the quantity and the quality of the product from the loading till the end of the delivery.
Driver should control all the documentation deliver to him, that the mentioned data are correct, and sign as per receipt; document are warranting the quantities and the value of the cargo.
All trucks should be park in assigned Premises during the night in the assigned position, the vehicles keys should be leave to the Key in charge or supervisor.
