• Promote Heavy Equipment Products & Services
• Diagnose, repair & overhaul of all Diesel engines within approved standard repair times & inline with pre - set quality standards
• Develop and maintain administrative procedures and resources appropriate to the job/department.
• To be aware of sales opportunities by being familiar with & knowing the local territory, customers, & maintain customer contact
• Control the quality of repairs • Report for work daily by the appropriate starting time.
• Time sheets, job opening cards, teardown reports, defect reports, Personal occurrence forms, personal incident/accident forms.
• Report any unsafe equipment to your immediate supervisor or safety representative
• Ensure all tooling & consumables are maintained in the appropriate manner.
• Take reasonable care to protect own health & safety & that of others. Ensure that self & others use personal protective equipment in accordance with Policy guidelines.
• Ensure specified areas are maintained, clean & safe after use - includes wash down bay, work area & Company vehicles.
• Assist Supervisor in requisition of parts required for the completion of allocated jobs.
• Return of Core items and disposal of expendables in the required manner at the completion of jobs
• Participate in on-call for field service
• Collect payment as required from Cash Sale Customers once repairs are completed
• Maintain Field Service Vehicle in accordance Company Policy guidelines while on call - includes personal and company tools, spare parts & consumables
• Maintain open line of communication with fellow employees, supervisors, managers and all other Workshop employees.
• Attend & participate in Workshop onsite meetings as required.
• Liaise with other departments / employees regarding support for the customer & sales opportunities.
• Train and assist other team members in the work environment
• Attend Company funded training programs as required.
• Be aware of, and act in accordance with, corporate objectives, initiatives, policies and procedures.
• Any other duties required to ensure the success of the HE Service
• Adaptable attitude and flexibility within the work environment.
• Be prepared to commit to a reasonable amount of overtime to satisfy Customer requirements and branch needs
