Ensure safety of all operations in all warehouse locations in Qatar and tasks involved with the movement and storage of finished goods and raw materials. This includes all operators, contractors, security staff and third party drivers.
· Maintain and adhere to local & company EHS rules to ensure site compliance.
· Rigorously enforce and validate that all site rules for mobile equipment use and vehicles loading / unloading are followed at all times - this includes daily safety start up checks, routine SMAT audits, task audits and training / coaching of our own operators, security staff and 3rd party drivers
· Co-ordinate with the supply chain team and freight forwarders to schedule and arrange transport, customs clearance, container placement and resource for inbound and outbound containerised deliveries
· Lead and motivate a team of 2 operators ensuring there is sufficient cover of people and skills at all times.
· Investigate, recommend and implement good practice lessons and safety recommendations from other company facilities
· Liaise directly with mobile equipment and fuel suppliers to ensure good service and availability of equipment to all departments involved with use of mobile equipment
· Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all transactions for all SKU receipts, issues and movement both physically and in the ERP system using FIFO as standard in all areas
· Work closely with customer service, sales and supply chain departments to proactively work through issues and improve service to those departments
· Maintain good standards of housekeeping through 5S techniques in all warehouse areas.
· Monitor and feedback to WCM environment pillar leader any incidents of waste segregation failures in the recycling and waste control skips
· Participate in CS WCM pillar for Qatar involving team members in continuous improvement projects using appropriate WCM tools
· Provide prompt investigation and feedback into any CS failure implementing corrective action ensuring no recurrence using appropriate WCM tool
