The MSL for the Gulf States maximizes Celgene’s value propositions through medical and scientific projects, services and expertise, development of long-term scientific partnerships with the medical community for benefit of patients (according to global or REGIONAL strategies).
Owner of Medical Affairs execution in the field
Implements and tracks medical affairs (MA) programs, in order to influence and change the practice of medicine, according to local therapeutic strategies
Coordinate with marketing, country lead and development field operations to implement MA programs
Support Medical Director and marketing and country lead in the development of regional MA tactics for a therapeutic area/product
Identify, develop and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future KOLs, keys centers in collaboration with marketing and sales team and key account managers
Work with KOLs to develop clinical therapeutic concepts that support the advancement of the science associated with Celgene´s advances in the therapeutic area
Disseminate complex technical information, innovative medical education materials and research concepts to KOL
Identify new opportunities, implement and follow up IIT trials
Work with clinical development to ensure prioritization of site selection
Serve as the face for Celgene to Centers of Influence in supporting visiting professorships, guest lecturers, symposia workshops within the goals of local therapeutic audience team
Work with marketing and sales department to ensure prioritization of key accounts
Implement and disseminate high quality medical and scientific educational programs
Develop required qualitative and quantitative reports
Support field sales efforts related to presenting clarity around clinical and scientific information supporting therapeutic decisions in patient care
Make clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare audiences aligned with central medical education programs
To be the primary contact for local collaborative groups and scientific societies
Provide clinical and scientific support for formulary, contracting and clinical guideline decision
Provide answers to off-label questions in close collaboration with medical information
Ensures medical / legal excellence and compliance
Ensures that local Medical Affairs activities follow Medical Affairs boundary conditions and national/local regulations

Collect and report competitive intelligence
