• Sales:
− Supports his/her superiors in the preparation of realistic sales targets
− Maximizes profitable sales, and achieves quantitative and qualitative sales objectives established and agreed with his/her superiors
− Conducts an effective approach to sales:
Gathers market information and identifies sales leads
Prepares commercial approach for meetings, in coordination with superiors
Conducts cold calls and scoping visits and discussions
Understands client requirements, and customizes company's offerings to suit these specific requirements
Prepares and negotiates leasing offers
Documents sales activities through call reports, and inputs client data into the system
− Follows up on the timely fulfilment of transactions
− As needed, assists more junior Marketing Officers in commercial tasks (sales talk and tactics, sales visits, preparation of offers, etc.), and coaches them in their development
• Client relationship management (after-sales):
− Nurtures the company’s relations with his/her client accounts (including socializing / client entertainment) and establishes / reinforces personal and company credibility
− Remains up-to-date on his/her clients’ future plans, and saturates the relationship with them through multiple-selling (deep pocket approach)
− Monitors his/her accounts’ performance in terms of growth, profitability, and collection track record
− Identifies and develops relations with new clients
− Proactively attempts to regain attractive client accounts that were lost in the past
− Addresses complaints filed by clients
− Follows-up on the collection of receivables of past-due clients
− Ensures timely and accurate call reporting
• General:
− Ensures timely and accurate reporting on his/her activities to superiors
− Attends team meetings and shares best practices with colleagues
− Ensures proper self time-management, including spending sufficient time in the market
− Demonstrates maturity and capability to assume increased supervisory and administration responsibilities in preparation for becoming an Assistant Manager - Marketing
− As applicable, conducts effective joint visits to clients
− Executes proper utilization of IT systems at all times including a timely and error free input of data, report generation, etc.
