• Treasury:
Ensures timely and accurate reconciliations with all banks for all Treasury related bank instructions
Follows up on the procedures of obtaining new lines of financing facilities from the banks
Coordinates banking relationships, duly arranging for opening and maintaining the required number of bank accounts and managing financing facilities with banks as necessitated by the funding plan
Manages the daily operations to ensure minimizing financing cost
Supports all company departments with any required information
Reviews all bank transactions to ensure implementation of company policy
Handles bank accounts’ opening and closing procedures
Reviews all bank interest and charges calculation to ensure consistency with the agreed upon terms
Prepares daily banks position report to provide management with comparison figures for decision taking
Prepares necessary documents related to bank facilities renewal
Executes all approved payments
Follows-up on all collections from lessees
Handles all types of Trade Finance transactions (LCs or LGs) with all banks. Serves as the primary point of contact regarding all trade finance transactions under his/her supervision. Supervises transactions for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and proper record keeping, and follows up with the concerned parties on any potential problems or comments
Communicates and follows up on any inconsistencies or transaction issues with the banks
Works closely with internal clients to ensure the smooth execution (including exchange of information and flow of documents) of treasury processes necessitated by their activities
Ensures proper record keeping and timely and accurate data entry in the system
• General:
− Ensures timely and accurate reporting on his/her activities to superiors
− Attends team meetings and shares best practices with colleagues
− Ensures proper self time-management
− Assists superiors in the recruiting and training of more junior Treasury Officers
Demonstrates maturity and capability to assume increased supervisory and administration responsibilities in preparation for becoming an Assistant Manager - Treasury
Executes proper utilization of IT systems at all times including a timely and error free input of data, report generation, etc.
