Monitoring of all systems and networking components, with emphasis to Production activities and scheduled batch and checklist tasks with the intent of interfacing with multiple support staffs to address problem situations as they occur
Maintain data centers facilities supporting on-line, batch and disaster recovery operations and maintain 24/7 systems availability and to meet the SLA
Manage facility requirements for power, UPS, Rack space, and systemsMonitoring of all systems and networking components, with emphasis to Production activities and scheduled batch and checklist tasks with the intent of interfacing with multiple support staffs to address problem situations as they occur
Troubleshooting and administering of different brands of Servers, Blade Servers, Storage, Tape Library and other hardware
Operate and maintain High availability Solutions using Clustering, Replication and Office site
Maintain Multiple Active Directories forest and their interconnection
Engineering and providing support for critical Exchange email services including virus protection, spam protection, archiving, business recovery/disaster recovery as well as email compliance systems
Experience working within a complex e-mail production process is necessary including the ability to provide oversight and direction on multiple e-mail program production lines and activities from inception through e-mail delivery
User account provisioning, Re-provisioning and de-provisioning
Provide High Availability to Core IT Services (Authentication, DNS, WINS, FTP)
Provide enterprise email system and other related application’s end-user support and maintenance
Administrate and Operate Active Directory, Windows Server platforms, Domain Controllers, Group policies, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, Terminal Services, VPN and RDP
Troubleshooting of MS Exchange servers 2007 and 2003 messaging environment, MS Clusters, and SAN technology
Manage and maintain heterogeneous Storage Area Network (SAN) environment, including hardware components, firmware and associated software management tools
Operate and Troubleshoot Enterprise data backup systems including backup applications and tape library
Administrate and maintain Enterprise class storage subsystems including Network Appliance, EMC, Hewlett Packard and respective management software
Operate SAN, Create LUNs, Creates CIFS shares
Operate Snapshots of Storages (OS, External Storages)
Monitor Capacity about Storage to Meet Short as well Long term needs
Manage Quota and Produce Reports for Violation of quota’s
Providing escalation support for unresolved client issues as well as developing, designing, testing, and implementing plans and procedures to protect servers including disaster recovery and fault tolerance
Maintain Knowledge base and operations Manual to reduce Problems.ITIL Problem Management Guidelines should be followed
Manage a Medium Virtualization environment for Disaster Recovery for Core Services
General Server & Virtual system administration functions including insuring security measure related to Virtual servers, including application servers, virus protection and protection from malicious attacks
Read, Understand and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures .
Co-operate, co-ordinate and share information with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the IT Department.
All Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall be immediately reported to the IT Service Desk.
