• To audit revenue figures and supporting vouchers, folios, documentation and disks/tapes submitted by Cashiers and Night Audit.
• Maintain control over sequential banqueting bills and ensure that proper billing instructions have been followed.
• To audit the statement of banking prepared by the Head Cashier.
• To prepare a summary of revenue allowances and adjustments for review by Chief Accountant / Financial Controller.
• To review Revenue Report prior to distribution.
• To bring to Financial Controller’s notice any issues pertaining to the Revenue and statistics reports.
• To ensure that all payments categories are balanced by cashiers and reconciled between PMS & POS systems.
• To review paid out, cash, cheque and credit card payment, refunds, gift certificates and others
• To review all Ledgers (Guest, city and deposit ledgers)
• To check Housekeepers report of occupied, complimentary and out of order rooms to match Front Office room statistics report.
• To complete Income Audit check-list on a daily basis and make sure that Night auditor check list has been completed and action correctly, then check list to be forwarded to Financial Controller for review and approval.
• Monitor and control ticket sales for special events.
• To carry out regular float checks for review with Financial Controller.
• Key in monthly budget forecast.
• To perform any other duties that may be requested by the Financial Controller or Chief Accountant to maintain an efficient Income Audit System.
• Prepare and compile the following statistics information on a daily / monthly basis:
o Room Tariff Type Analysis.
o A&G Analysis.
o Telephone Report.
o Inter-hotel comparatives..
o Employee’s city ledger.
o Allowances and Adjustment.
o Existing Packages.
o Other Income Transportations, Rentals and others
