Arab Monetary Fund, a regional organization based in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), with the objective of laying monetary foundations of Arab economic integration and accelerating the process of economic development in Arab Countries.
AMF is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Chief, Computer Division. Which is a senior Position entrusted with leading the IT Activities and expected to effect the change Management in the IT service levels to achieve the desired objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead the change in IT organization and resources, this assumes a distinguished track record of achievements in change management.
Direct and manage strategic plans, policies, programs, and schedules for all areas of information technology services to accomplish organizational goals and objectives. Responsible for aligning IT strategy with the strategic priorities and objectives.
Establish, implement and administer short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Oversee the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
Responsible for the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
Identify emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated,
Assess new computing technologies to determine potential value for the Organization.
Oversee ongoing improvements and the feasibility of systems enhancements.
Establish IT infrastructure to support business needs.
Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
Direct the information and data integrity of the organization and its business units.
Develop strategic plans responsive to the needs of the business growth and objectives.
Develop and establish operating policies and approaches for information technology.
Evaluate overall operations of information technology functions and recommend enhancements and initiate re-engineering of business processes to align to continuous changes in technology and needs.
Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integration in support of business goals and objectives.
Coach the IT team and continuously develop its technical and professional capabilities.
