Our multi-disciplined finance teams support and improve business performance while maintaining effective and robust control. We have teams working within our retail divisions; reviewing financial performance, identifying trends, spotting opportunities and supporting business planning and decision making. In our Central Finance Team, business performance is recorded, reported and analyzed on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Finance staff also play an active role in the review and enhancement of business processes and technology usage.



The Role:



Each of our business segments has a Business Finance Manager to drive the annual business planning and budgeting process - ensuring that budgets and targets are realistic, stretched and reflect actual business potentials. Within your segment you will be the first point of contact for all financial reporting and planning. You will also have responsibility for monitoring on-going performance, tracking achievements and highlighting variances. Additionally, you will advise your division on preventive measures, corrective actions and reinforcements as required.



Qualifications & Requirements:



- Highly commercial and astute finance professional with strong analytical skills and a pro-active approach to driving business performance.



- Excellent business partnering, relationship building, communication and presentation skills.



- Significant commercial finance management experience.



- A pro-active approach to problem solving with the ability to think laterally



- Recent line management experience.



- Retail and/or FMCG experience (desirable).



- A university degree and professional financial qualification



- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems like Oracle and SAP.
