• Test engineer of the team responsible for functional testing Telecom domain
• Design, author test cases based on a software design document
• Execute functional test plan and file defects
• Automate test cases in the test plan
• Work closely with development counterparts in an agile development cycle
• Review requirement documents, functional specifications and customer design documents.
• Attend design reviews with development engineers
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects
• Test keeping the big picture in mind, how technologies / components integrate with one another
• Mentor senior test engineers and new hires
• Be a vocal proponent of quality in every phase of the testing cycle.
• Ability to work under pressure and to stretch during weekends/ Odd hours
