Key Responsibilities
- Establish engineering requirements and source the necessary resources for major projects
- Ensure engineering systems and procedures are developed and successfully rolled out for all major projects
- Ensure effective coordination between the engineering disciplines
- Provide HSE leadership to the engineering teams
- Responsible for ensuring the competency of engineering teams
- Training and development of engineering staff
- Coordination of the engineering team. This includes addressing performance shortfalls with supervisors and rewarding good performance
- Drive communication relating to technical matters
- Ensure that technical integrity is not being compromised to meet schedules across the project
- Promote collaboration with other functional groups and stakeholders on engineering matters.
Change Management:
- Ensure scope changes are identified and management of change processes are adhered to
- Ensure change management of technical issues is properly implemented
Peer Reviews:
- Identify and implement additional technical peer reviews as necessary to ensure the technical integrity of the location
- Technical peer reviews are conducted in accordance with the loca
