Gulf Connexions has been mandated by a well-known financial services firm with a presence across the Mena region as well as Asia to find a Chief Financial Officer to join their expanding team based in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing & controling the financial & financial planning activities as well as taking responsibility for putting in place & maintaining the current finance policies & procedures.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily operation of the Company's accounting and financial functions and for significant contributions to the formulation, implementation, and administration of corporate wide finance related policies and Business goals.
Preparation of monthly, annual, and other financial reports and statements as requested.
Responsible for the preparation of the Consolidated Financial statements on quarterly or half-yearly basis.
Presents on a regular basis the financial results, be these management reports or the audited financial statements, highlighting all variances to budget or forecasts with recommendation for remedial action(s).
Assists subsidiaries with all aspect of financial, accounting, and reporting requirements including frequent visits.
Provides leadership through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication. Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in programs, policies, and procedures
