In this exciting role, you will be continuously developing and implementing new sales ideas to generate revenue growth for the company. You will have a designated portfolio to work on where you will progressively build up your clientele. Your tasks will involve selling exhibition stand and sponsorship sales and this can be done mainly via telephone and email but also face-to-face meetings.
You should have the ability to work independently and proceed to objectives with minimal supervision. You will be required to continually update a cloud-based online sales database which can be accessed by your line manager in real-time. The scope of updating will include adding/modifying sales contacts as well as posting sales activities and forecasts. You will be required to make a minimum of 40-50 phone calls a day using Skype. A typical business day's work will also involve sending out and responding to a minimum of 25-30 emails.
You will also be expected to spend a fair bit of time identifying prospects and connecting with them via LinkedIn. In addition, you must continually research the ever changing market and you may attend relevant competitor events to stay abreast of market development.
This position offers an excellent OTE package consisting of a base salary plus commission. Furthermore, the incentive to attend overseas for team meetings as well as to attend the event and work onsite will be one of many.
