About The Role:
Our company is looking for an energetic, on site, Account Manager to be a key liaison between the business, and the customer. In this role, the Account Manager will work to build effective relationships with the customer.
The Account Manager will sit on site with the customer, and will be responsible for directing all customer and transportation activities to drive financial and customer service performance. This position directs and influences operational and customer service functions.
Main duties but not limited to:
• Develop a deep understanding of the services performed for the client by Operations Team.
• Coordinate with Operations Team to ensure Service Level Agreement compliance.
• Monitor and track operational KPI’s to ensure excellent performance.
• Identify and perform required data analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Generating accounts receivable and payable aging reports and working with operational departments for dispute resolution.
• Facilitate outbound load planning requirements to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in weekly operational review calls with customer and key stakeholders and ensure wide visibility to operational threats and performance concerns.
• Develop a forum for discussion of strategic initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities to drive better performance and cost reduction.
• Develop an understanding of Performance Team systems and customer systems to identify data integrity issues and opportunities to improve.
• Develop strong relationships different customer departments to support and educate while facilitating a high quality of service.
• Establish new relationships with the client’s strategic partners to support and identify additional opportunities for Operations Team.
