About the Integrity Network Initiative
The Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) in cooperation with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) launched the Integrity Network Initiative in 2012 to advance integrity and anti-corruption standards in the Egyptian business sector. The Initiative was created as a business-driven collective action initiative aimed at strengthening integrity standards among Egyptian companies, specifically among SMEs, as well as tackling some of the most pressing corruption challenges affecting businesses in Egypt.
The Initiative centers on a tailored anti-corruption standard and capacity building program for SMEs. A surrounding network of partners forms a multi-stakeholder platform to raise awareness and contribute to public and policy debates relating to issues of integrity, anti-corruption, corporate governance and collective action.
Job Overview
To grow the initiative and manage relations with existing stakeholders we are looking for an Outreach Manager to join our team as soon as possible. He or she will report directly to the Project Director and will be responsible to extend and grow the network by recruiting new members and maintaining contact with existing members and relevant external stakeholders. The Outreach Manager will further organize workshops and present the initiative at (public) external events.
In more detail the Outreach Coordinator will:
• Be responsible for drafting a growth and outreach plan
• Identify and approach new members
• Conduct meetings with (potential) new members and relevant stakeholders
• Develop a communications strategy for the initiative
• With the support of a junior outreach officer develop outreach material (press releases, newsletters etc.)
• Maintain contact and engage with members of the Integrity Network
• Present the Initiative at meetings, workshops and public events.
• Liaise with the Project Coordinator Capacity Building on setting up and maintaining an Anti-Corruption Helpdesk.
• Respond to queries from members and interested parties with the support of the Project Coordinator Capacity Building.
