About the Integrity Network Initiative
The Egyptian Junior Business Association (EJB) in cooperation with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) launched the Integrity Network Initiative in 2012 to advance integrity and anti-corruption standards in the Egyptian business sector. The Initiative was created as a business-driven collective action initiative aimed at strengthening integrity standards among Egyptian companies, specifically among SMEs, as well as tackling some of the most pressing corruption challenges affecting businesses in Egypt.
The Initiative centers on a tailored anti-corruption standard and capacity building program for SMEs. A surrounding network of partners forms a multi-stakeholder platform to raise awareness and contribute to public and policy debates relating to issues of integrity, anti-corruption, corporate governance and collective action.
Job Overview
The Junior Outreach Officer will report to and work closely with the Outreach Manager to extend and grow the network by recruiting new members as well as liaise with existing members and other relevant stakeholders. He or she will further significantly contribute to the set-up and maintenance of an Anti-Corruption Helpdesk that will be the first point of contact for members.
In more detail the Junior Outreach Officer will:
• Research and approach relevant stakeholders to join the Integrity Network.
• Accompany the Outreach Manager to meetings and provide meeting support (preparation as well as follow-up).
• Maintain up-to-date database of contacts.
• Draft outreach material (press releases, newsletters etc.).
• Translation of outreach material English to Arabic (and vice versa).
• Help with the organizational and content-related set-up of a new Anti-Corruption Helpdesk.
• Be the first line of contact for queries from members and interested external parties.
• Be responsible for the Initiative’s social media channels.
• Draft recommendations and executive summaries based on outreach meetings, incentive provider meetings and multi-stakeholder workshops.
• Operate the Anti-Corruption Helpdesk.
• Provide other support functions as required
