Key responsibilities may include:
Handling Imports & Exports transactions, verify that all data and documentation adheres to import-export policies and procedures
Submission of the data to local 3rd party customs applications or data capture in local 3rd party system/customs website or solution; complete data and submit to local customs authority for Export/ Import approval
Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs
Advise appropriate Customer warehouse/office of consignments on Import/ Export process status
If required calculation of VAT & Duty per the calculation guidelines provided by Customer
Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures
