A well-known financial institution in the Middle East, is looking for a Head of Wholesale Banking to join their expanding team. The successful candidate needs over 15 years of related experience of which a minimum 5 - 8 years should be in similar position.
Responsibilities
• Supervise the development and subsequent implementation of annual plans by the individual departments/ sections comprising Wholesale Banking (Product Management and Innovation; Commercial Enterprises; Corporate and Structured Finance; Corporate Banking; Corporate Branches) to ensure achievement of pre-set targets/ objectives, including but not limited to business growth and expansion.
• Ensure that the staff within the Wholesale Banking function maintains the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of all their daily operations.
• Recommend and implement new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continuous improvement in efficiency of the Wholesale Banking function.
• Keep the CEO informed of significant Wholesale Banking related issues that may jeopardize the achievement of Business goals.
• Coordinate with the Department Head Corporate banking and Department Head Commercial Banking the competitive to set strategic directions relevant to each sector to differentiate Doha bank from the market and ensure a wider corporate and commercial customer base.
