A well-known financial institution in the Middle East, is looking for a Head of International Banking Group to join their expanding team in the Middle East. The successful candidate needs over 15 years of related experience of which a minimum 5 - 8 years should be in similar position.
Responsibilities
• Supervise the formulation of the Bank’s strategic and business development plans for the International Banking business and subsequently implement the approved strategy/ plan to facilitate business and the achievement of related short and long term business goals in the most effective and efficient manner.
• Develop and propose International Banking budget in coordination with the Chief Financial Officer.
• Ensure that the approved strategy, business plans, budgets along with the approved policies/ procedures and subsequent amendments thereto are communicated in a timely manner to the respective International Banking departments/ sections to the extent that these relate to their areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for meeting set targets and objectives as well as the financial performance of their function.
• Establish and maintain a sound internal control environment across International Banking function including but not limited to the establishment of an organizational structure that clearly assigns authority, responsibility, and reporting relationships and avoids conflicts of interest.
