Job Purpose :
To manage and hold ultimate responsibility for all sub business units of Alosra, ensuring that all associated activities are fully and effectively implemented in line with set policies and procedures, targets and budgets and guaranteeing the provision of excellent customer service at all times and compatibility of operations with Company objectives thereby maintaining the BBMI culture.
1. Manages the delivery and achievement of KPI’s (keyperformance indicators) for all business locations for Alosra
2.To ensure the highest standard of customer service from all Store branches are given to all customers at all times
3.To ensure merchandising and presentation in the departments from all Store branches is of the highest standard at all times
4. Identifies staff development needs to meet business needs, and arranges appropriate training through HR. Acts as a role model and coaches junior staff in the company values and behaviour expected from them
5. Work closely to the Store Managers prior to manage staff in accordance with the agreed policies and budgets of the company and handles all necessary disciplinary matters and staff issues in timely and appropriate manner
6. Provides leadership and sound people management practices to build a motivated and productive team capable of providing outstanding customer service Build teamwork / Staff utilisation
7.Oversee and monitors of the staff working environment to ensure that all IMS Food Safety, Health & Safety and Quality Standard are implemented at all times
8. Decides on which lines to introduce and which to delete in coordination with the Trading Manager / Buyer and in accordance with products / items history base on the customers’ demands and request.
9. Checks regularly on all maintenance work done in all Store branches to ensure a good service has been provided and the contractor is adhering to the terms of the agreement
10. Set the annual budgets for the Store branches, such as overtime, consumables and maintenance in coordination with the designated Finance Manager
11. Oversees the tenancy of Saar branch & Amwaj branch, to ensure all issues are resolved efficiently and rent is paid on time, and liaises with Admin, Health & Safety Manager with regards to any maintenance issues with the building
NOTE: The following are the IMS accountabilities of all BMMI employees. These accountabilities must be included in all JDs in addition to the key accountabilities expected of the position.
-Follow all applicable policies and procedures required for the successful execution of the job.
-Follow the IMS Policy and meet the requirements of the organization’s Integrated Management System which is compliant to international standards for Quality (ISO 9001), Food Safety (ISO 22000), Occupational Health & Safety (OHSAS 18001), and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001).
-Cooperate with internal and external auditors.
-Make recommendations for continual improvement and support improvement initiatives the company undertakes.
