a general trading company with diverse areas of business is looking to recruit a division manager / sales manager for the Bahrain part of business. He will handle the sales of elevators and lifts for their elevators, escalators, steel doors and building maintenance division.

The company's main activities are focused on sourcing, import and export of a wide range of products from reputable international suppliers for its various divisions and support for joint ventures. The company also facilitates sponsorship facilities to foreign companies who are interested in having their representative or branch offices in the Gulf region.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

responsible for developing and maintaining commercially productive relationships with both new and old clients. Also in charge of identifying every sales lead and of making the most out of every opportunity to increase revenue and profitability of the lift division and maximize the sales service contracts.



Main Duties:
- Promote the company brand to key buyers- Manage to ensure specifications / delivery / date committed to the customers are met- Motivate the personnel in improving their performance and supervise / assist the staff reporting directly to fulfill their duties- Guide the sales team in introducing the company's products to the consutlants and contractors and ensure that only commercially viable quotations which are in conformance with the company's policies and procedures (including pricing and discount structures) are given to the customer- take part in order negotiations including price and credit as per laid down policy schedules- scan the market and visit customers with the intention of generating enquiries or trying to fulfill customer requirements- replying to all customer enquiries in a timely and accurate manner- writing up sales reports, activity reports and revenue forecasts- completing all documentation and administrative activities- train staff on a continuous basis. Any other related work assigned by superior- add new hands to division and top new market segment




Profile

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be
- a graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related subject, - a minimum of 7 years experience in elevator field, - knowledgeable in the sales of elevators, particularly in the Orona brand- Knowledgeable in the Bahraini market- have a proven record in achieving, securing or tender enquiries to targeted level
