Job Purpose :
-To manage specific agencies, monitoring all related team activities and results to ensure the achievement of volume, revenue, distribution and market coverage targets.
-Manages stock and debtor levels, forecasts sales, and identifies trends to aid decision-making and ways to improve the business.
Managing Operations :
-Forecasts sales effectively through the monthly analysis of information, and uses the stock management system to order sufficient stock to meet market requirements, while avoiding overstocking and potential wastage
-Monitors the stock days to minimise wastage and meet targets.
-Implements and ensures 100% compliance with customer contracts
-Ensures 100% excellence in execution of all activities & monthly objectives set by the Divisional Manager Monitors the stock days to minimise wastage and meet targets.
-Conducts regular market visits to monitor display standards and distribution, ensuring adherence to Principal requirements and to observe market activities to identify any new business opportunities for development.
-Monitors the performance of the top 10 Key Accounts to ensure that targets are met.
-Liaises regularly with the Division Manager to order to identify proactive ways to improve operations and achieve better results, and encourages the team to identify ways to improve processes.
-Co-ordinates and assists the Principals in implementing regional ideas and strategies by adapting them to suit the Bahrain market.
-Assists with consumer and trade promotions and creates tailor-made promotions for specific customers when required, in co-ordination with the Trade Market Executive.
Managing People :
-Manages staff in accordance with the agreed policies and budgets of the company and handles all disciplinary matters and staff issues in a timely and appropriate manner.
-Identifies staff development needs to meet business needs, andarranges appropriate training. Acts as a role model and coaches more junior staff in the company values and behaviour expected from staff.
-Reviews team performance on a daily basis and closely monitors to ensure they meet KPI targets and are equipped with the necessary sales tools i.e. product information and stock. Provides guidance and takes corrective performance measures when required to ensure that the team meets set targets for volume, revenue, distribution and market coverage.
-Monitors the working environment to ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met and adhered to in order to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors in the department.
Financial :
-Monitors and controls debtor levels through regular review, and works to achieve debtor’s day’s objectives by identifying measures to reduce debt time and the prompt resolution of payment issues.
-Identifies budgetary requirements for the team and obtains agreement from the Division Manager, prior to proposing to and seeking agreement from the Principals. Manages funds i.e. Advertising & Promotion to ensure appropriate and effective allocation, and closely monitors to avoid budget overspend.
-Controls the provision of Free of Charge to customers and arranges refunds as appropriate from the Principals by raising and following up debit notes.
-Manages the display / visibility contract terms, and actions recovery by raising debit notes for all agreed activities conducted in the financial year.
