Maximising the capability and features within the planned adoption of an E-business platform, [2013 ERP Oracle]
Develop and update service delivery KPI’s, in particular process performance and service output measures.
Help create internal learning and improvement by the use of comparative data within the major operating facilities and advising service teams on potential local initiatives to improve or standardize HR process outcomes
Support Human Capital’s Management Team through an unprecedented period of change with both technical and coaching interventions.
Developing internal capability to sustain continual improvement including training of key stakeholders
Consolidate and review the department overall strategy, business plan and budget and assist in respective implementation.
Consolidate and review the department policies and procedures and assist in respective implementation.
Supervise and coordinate activities of direct subordinates.
Interpret job specifications and key responsibilities to direct subordinates and assign duties.
Develop control activities to ensure exactness and completeness of work and compliance with policies and procedures.
Study and standardize procedure to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Perform or assist subordinate in performing duties.
Lead the annual performance appraisal process.
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate subordinates to achieve work goals.
Consolidate and report staff training needs, coordinate training processes, and attend and evaluate trainings.
Consolidate and report the need for new headcount.
Monitor time keeping and maintenance of personnel records.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist subordinates in solving such problems.
Contribute to hiring of staff.
Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary actions.
Lead the development of job descriptions and propose organization structure and operating model.
Consolidate challenges impacting the talent base and develop the appropriate succession plan.
Confer with peers to coordinate activities of individual department.
Consolidate and submit performance reports to Management.
Ensuring key stakeholders are aware, and support improvement initiatives.
Prepare plans and timelines in a coordinated and simple format for internal reporting and monitoring via the Strategy & Analysis Manager
Using many and varied interventions and techniques for involving front line staff in the development and implementation of improvement initiatives. Identifying; understanding and articulating related training or development opportunities for all levels of Human Capital.
Using process improvement interventions, as a vehicle for enhanced team working and inter-departmental cooperation.
Ensure service quality, and introduce tools to drive a ‘right first time’ mindset, with associated performance measures locally.
Design and deliver improvement module as required locally in line with established methodology such as: Lean; 6 Sigma; 5S’;BPR; Kaizen etc.
To act as the HR/WFD focal point for systematic problem solving; acting as the hub for implementing consistent and standardized solutions.
