Assist Project Co-ordinators / Engineers / Managers with the assessment of engineering resource requirements and assign engineering resources from the discipline to project teams at the commencement of each project.
Assign and co-ordinate the workload of engineers within the discipline.
Monitor staff levels within the discipline and report any shortage or excess.
Convene and chair regular discipline meetings to review the progress and assignment of projects, and discuss any problems being experienced by, or training requirements of, engineers within the discipline.
