An exciting opportunity has arisen within a one of the largest Metro Infrastructures in the Middle East, that is seeking a Deputy HSSE Manager over this prestigious Metro Project.
Driving towards zero harm, you will be responsible for overall performance of the Project, developing strategy to reach their ultimate goals.
The successful applicant will be a Chartered Member of IOSH with a proven track record of Health and Safety management across a variety of risks. You will have a high-level understanding of Health and Safety management strategies and legislation, aligned to experience in managing a team of Health and Safety professionals.
The Role:
*Overall day-to-day management of the H&S performance and activities, driving the business towards zero harm
*Day to Day Management of a team of 50 plus H&S Professionals
*Ensuring compliance across the business, engaging with the wider group to inform and educate
*Manage a team of H&S Advisors (8) across the UK; you will also be responsible for expanding the H&S team
*Collate H&S information, reporting that information back to the HSSE Manager
*Continuous improvement of the H&S systems and policy, introducing new H&S initiatives
