A leading governmental organization based in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit experienced electronics technician to join their dynamic team of professionals. The desired candidates must have experience with electronics systems maintenance.
The senior electronics technician will be responsible for all minor and major electronics repair, maintenance and installation of a wide variety of various industrial equipment and test benches. The role will also be responsible for performing work as per assignments provided through the work order and/or verbal communication. The role should perform quality work as part of the ISO 9001 program.
Major Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for performing diagnoses for electronic control and power circuit, maintenance repairs and installations of various industrial equipment such as test benches, compressors, saws, pressing and sheering machines, sand blasters, cleaners, cranes, lifting jacks, machine tools, water pumps, sweepers, welding equipment, boilers, dynamometers, electroplating systems, CNC machines and other commercial building electrical systems.
- Responsible for troubleshooting and solving the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) by performing diagnoses and troubleshooting using proper instrument.
- Responsible for solving interfacing problems for various electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems for performing diagnoses and troubleshooting using the proper instrument and tools.
- Provide the assistant to the supervisor for the preventive maintenance and prepare Job Plans for electronics equipment, repair and install electronics equipment using past experience and OEM technical manuals.
- Identify required electronics materials and other consumables needed to perform electronic work and installation using purchase request forms and CMMS.
- Perform all required periodic equipment electrical and electronic servicing and respond to emergency calls.
- Help ensure that all Facilities Maintenance electronics equipment, instrument, tools and high value property assigned to him are maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and constantly safeguarded.
- Ensure safety practices, housekeeping standards and environmental controls are all adhered to at the highest standard level.
- Perform other related duties are assigned by the Senior Supervisor, Equipment Maintenance.
