A leading global company specialized in professional equipment is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. You will be directly reporting to the Senior Manager Sales Administration & Logistics Overall Job Purpose / Role To support Company’s MEA operation in Dubai and on project site during project implementation. To work as part of a team in managing the warehouse functions in Dubai in line with UAE import / export customs procedures. Main Duties Project Logistics: Management of logistics to / from airports • Independently receive equipment from forwarders (air, sea freight and courier) • Arrange labor, tools to handle equipment • Coordinating between Procurement team (Dubai based), on-site project manager, customer and contractors Inventory management • Receiving consignments on site • Check inbound goods against shipping documents reporting back discrepancies, damages, etc to Procurement team • Scanning in equipment and managing by serial number / location • Sorting equipment by phase / timeline • Distribution / delivery to site location • Maintenance of records to track goods • Handover to client after installation / commissioning - usually one year after delivery • Maintaining efficient inventory records by product, quantity, serial number throughout project timeline • Coordination with customer on receiving and signing of deliveries against serial number • Coordinate with site manager and installation team to maintain and update installed equipment Develop weekly reports against project timelines • Inventory received • Inventory in store vs. installed by location Managing RMA’s - recording faulty equipment, return and replacement of stock Final delivery to customer against contract Dubai Warehouse: To manage IMPZ warehouse functions as per responsibilities detailed in warehouse assistant roles. Implement procedures to enable efficient management of goods movements. Head team to develop, articulate and maintain logistics process and documentation
