The ERP Coordinator acts as coordinator between the requesting NMH department user and the Oracle ERP support vendor by raising relevant issues/requirements through support vendor’s remedy system. Designs, develops and implements oracle ERP customized reports. Monitors progress for the ERP system, and evaluates and recommends changes to current / future ERP system requirements to meet Hospital needs
1. Ensures customization, extension, modification, localization or integration to the existing systems and develops reports using Oracle Reports to cater to business specific reporting needs.
2. Provides ongoing support and enhancements for the Oracle ERP system.
3. Ensures that the accurate data is captured for the functional area of expertise.
4. Ensures that all calls are raised to support vendor through the ‘REMEDY’ system; maintains adequate records.
5. Acts as interface between vendor and users. Coordinates with support vendor for all technical details and user requirements
6. Acts as a resource to functional area of expertise for resolution of inquiries, problems or issues. Stays updated on process flows to ensure that best practices are adopted for the Hospital to get the best use out of the ERP system
7. Trains and orients users on functionality and use of applications.
8. Assigns user rights, passwords & access rights to user as approved by the requesting HOD
9. Generates ad hoc and comprehensive reports as per user requirements.
10. Creates /maintains/generates oracle ERP Alerts as per user requirements.
11. Monitors integration points with legacy systems and fixes bugs/errors accordingly.
12. Meets with department representatives to review business strategies, define business needs, translate needs into technical specifications, determine technology solutions, and develop corresponding project plans.
13. Maintains project charters using customized NMH project listing Module.
14. Develops technical and operational support documentations for analyzing and developing test and evaluation procedures.
15. Facilitates and conducts trainings and workshops/sessions for users.
16. Participates in all ERP implementation steps as assigned
17. Maintains and updates training materials/manuals and Implementation documents submitted by the implementing vendor.
18. Prepares detailed customized technical reports as per user requirements
19. Attends meetings as required.
Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
