Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the control of all plant, equipment, HVAC, civil works, fountains and structural technical works to ensure the mall delivers and meets MEP targets.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver technical engineering as well as inspect fit out phases through the outsourced service provider.
Implement Continuity, Emergency and Disaster Recovery Plans as well as analyzing all contemporary technical data supplied by the service provider.
Ensure maintenance of accurate asset registry regarding equipment and other complex BMS systems.
Implement PPM plan for each technical discipline as required.
Oversee 3rd party PPM Plans and SLA’s; maintain the Reporting Lines:systems and equipment problem free; respond to Early Warning monitoring systems and programs regarding Mission Critical MEP services; participate in technical aspect of outsourcing processes.
Comply with policies and procedures affecting the use of spares and replacement components; administer whole of life replacement programs.
Assisting in ensuring:
Regular maintenance and repair program
Fire safety management
Contracts management
Risk and crisis management
Real estate management
financial management
Health and safety management
Building maintenance
Monitor supply of utilities; analyze energy management statistics for chargeback purposes.
Update the annual and period end Technical Budget performance; respond to variance directives; recommend capital improvement works; participate in development of working and capital budgets.
Assist in the development of the various Technical disciplines.
Participate as Mall Duty Manager (evenings/shifts/weekends), as required.Reporting Lines:

Relevant experience in the technical management of significant Shopping Malls preferably within the GCC.
Clear and strong communication and leadership skills to ensure the effective management of contract services delivering technical services.
Bottom-line oriented with the ability to control costs and maximize efficiencies. Ability to manage existing contractual agreements.
Well-developed analytical skills. Interpersonal skills:
Demonstration of cross cultural communication, motivational and interpersonal skills at an individual and team level.
Highly technical, incisive, self-motivated, comfortable in a dynamic working environment. Has worked within successful teams.
