JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
Assist the operations and other functions within MENA real estate in performing economic researches in the areas of country and regional macro analysis, econometric analysis, real estate sector analysis and other high level economic subjects as deemed necessary.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operational
- Compile economic data and policy changes to assess the implications of the change on the real estate sector.
- Conduct economic researches with regards to competitive environment, country analysis and supply & demand analysis.
- Assist in researching and developing ad-hoc requests of the firm management to ensure that the MENA Real Estate team has access to top quality economic research insights for decision making.
- Organize data into report format and prepare graphic illustrations of research findings in order to ensure that the reports highlights key issues and are easy to read.
- Issue research reports for investors in order to demonstrate the level of details that the firm goes through and facilitate future work with them.
- Create and administer a database of market, customers, and competitor’s information and intelligence in order to build a shareable content with MENA Real Estate team for decision making.
- Identify and capture data sources for the economic research database (including external sources, third party providers and internal data) in order to ensure source diversification.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, reports and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Systems, Policies, Procedures & Reporting
- Comprehend and follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Corporate Social Responsibility
Ensure continuous efforts are exerted to contribute to the social environment of Kuwait society in all areas through the firm CSR initiatives.
