Carry out or lead preventive & corrective maintenance tasks on various maintenance equipment as per procedures and in accordance with OEM requirements.
Investigate production team complaints and determine nature and extent of problem and recommend remedial measures.
Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.
Consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints.
Economize on the use of materials and ensure that equipment and accessories are in good working order and report deficiencies if any.
Check and confirm the received materials or spare parts are within the standards and specifications. Develop material specifications/inspection procedures.
Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput "continuous improvement process"
Comply with company procedure, safety regulations and job safe practices to protect personnel, plant and equipment
Inspects instruments and test equipment periodically and adjusts calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.
Calibrate instruments or test equipment according to established standards.
Operates test apparatus during test cycle to produce, regulate, and record effects of actual or simulated conditions such as vibration, stress, temperature, pressure and acceleration.
Analyzes and converts test data to usable form, using mathematical formulas, and prepares graphs and written reports to translate test results.
Plan test/calibration program for instruments and tools.
Use computerized equipment and software to perform testing functions and produce graphs.
Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and control.
Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations.
Tests accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers and other recording indicating or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system using test equipment.
Calibrates readings on instruments according to standards and adjusts phasing and aligns stages to ensure accuracy of recording and indicating function.
Records calibrations made, parts and components used, and inventory of parts on hand.
Prepares schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits, and systems.
Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Maintains system data base by entering proper data in the system.
