Job Responsibilities
To carry out duties in a timely professional manner and providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment by maintaining the company's assets through ongoing preventative maintenance as well as day to day maintenance activities, and ensuring that all mechanical and plant systems are operating efficiently.
Scheduling
Directs and controls all subordinate Maintenance staff to ensure that all day to day operational matters are handled on time and that guest expectations are met and assists in the preparation of duty rosters, vacation plans and public holiday scheduling.
Procedure
Maintains facilities and equipment by conducting routine inspections and determining appropriate rectification measures and maintains systems to be able to handle day to day guest requests quickly and efficiently
Stock controls
Liaises with purchasing to ensure provision of quality engineering supplies at most competitive prices
Teamwork
Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the department and company by maintaining effective relationships with departments .
Health & Safety
Is fully conversant with all company rules, policies and procedures for, health & safety, fire and emergency situations.
Guest service
Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the department or company is represented
