Meet and Assist is a joint venture (JV) between Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) and Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) has been awarded a contract to develop, maintain, and provide Meet and Assist Services at the new Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) terminal in Amman.
The JV will be responsible for the following activities:
•Assist arriving, departing and transit passengers
•Develop Fast Track services (immigration and security)
•Trolley Management and Recycling
•Electric Buggy Services
•Porter Services
•Luggage Wrapping Services
•Visa-on-arrival
The JV is looking to recruit an experienced Guest Services Dispatcher Reporting to the Duty Manager, with solid business acumen to participate in the exciting new venture. If you are interested, please apply with your CV, expected remuneration in English along with a covering letter.
PURPOSE
The incumbent, reporting to the on-duty Guest Services Supervisor, is responsible for managing and operating the Guest Services dispatch and officer allocation at QAIA.
JOB SCOPE
The Guest Services Dispatcher will maintain daily schedules and dispatch GSO in accordance with daily requests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Schedule and coordinate all service requests
2. Allocate the appropriate resources for all service requests
3. Assign Guest Services Officers to service requests in accordance with set procedures
4. Generate regular reports on services and GSO activities
5. Confirm and follow up on flight information and schedules for all bookings
6. Provide daily brief at the beginning of each shift of the expected service requests
7. Follow up on all waiting list bookings
8. Provide GSO with relevant information and print material when necessary
9. Make sure all services are logged (beginning and ending services)
10. Brief next shift dispatcher with all requested services
EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
• A minimum of two years in the services industry
• Human resource allocation/dispatch skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience in aviation and/or hospitality field is preferred
• Willing to work on a shift-basis
QUALIFICATIONS
• Two-year diploma as a minimum
• Jordanian national
