1.Should be thoroughly aware of Old Diamond Standards.
2.Supervises the activities of waitresses and runners of the restaurant.
3.Ensures clients are served courteously, efficiently as per the company standards.
4.Advises staff concerning the conduct and the proper handling of equipment’s.
5.Ensures that they maintain the service station clean and in order.
6.Ensures that personal grooming and uniform of the restaurants team is to the required company standards.
7.Handles guest reservation in the absence of the hostess.
8.Greats and escorts guests.
9.Suggest food, wine and answer questions regarding food preparation and wine.
10.Observes, anticipates and accommodates all clients’ needs and requests.
11.Assigns duties, to the waiters, runner, barmen, and cashier.
12.Make requisitions for needed materials and supplies.
13.Monitors the sequence of service.
14.Solving conflicts and maintaining team spirit among team members.
15.Make daily and monthly store inventories.
16.Accepts and solve Guests' complaints and informs the manager about them.
17.Checks that the miser-en-place is done in the correct order.
18.Ensures that Food & Beverages are served to the set standard.
19.Complies with the Health, Safety, Hygiene and Fire Policy.
20.Assists Manager in training and appraising the performance of waitresses and runners.
21.Attends and participates in daily briefings.
22.Makes sure all vital information is passed to the restaurant team.
23.Conduct daily briefings in the absence of the manager.
24.Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the Management.
25.Make sure that all menu items are available by communicating with the chef.
26.Monitors the opening and closing checklist.
27.Ensures on a daily basis the cleanliness of the restaurant.
28.Ensures that storing is done as per the FIFO system.
29.Follow up on previous guest comment cards.
Communicates the need for operational equipment by monitoring inventories.
30. Responsible of the restaurant maintenance in all its aspects.
31.Assist the restaurant manager in team building, cost control and training.
32.Exercise all hygiene practices according to the company standard
33.Handle with care the uniforms provided by the company and make sure not to be damaged.
34.Should report for any loss / found any items inside the premises have to report to his concern reporting manager.
35.Practice his/her duties and responsibilities according to the company policies and procedures.
36.Exercising Kuwait Health Administration and follow Municipality guide lines.
