• Turning data into meaningful management information. Critically evaluate information gathered from Microsoft Dynamics and Retail systems create be spoke manual information’s report and when a corporate frame work is unavailable. Anticipate the information needs of the end user ensuring all reports are designed in a user friendly format.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver on time to the management team.
• Summarize daily invoices as recorded from daily deliveries on daily basis, reconcile stock reports, reconcile on daily basis high value inventory items, request proposals from suppliers.
• Reconcile cash at the end of every shift. Investigate any variances beyond Sr.5, and reported to the line manager. End of day cash should be deposited to the finance accountant with the copy of the shift reconciliations on daily basis.
• Be driven to challenge the business unit’s leadership team on their assumptions. Be a support resource for business planning and budget management.
• In the absence of the store manager and other shift manages take accountability for the commercial operation of the store ensuring the store is filled, standards of merchandise presentation are maintained and collougues are motivated to beat their targets.
• Understand customer and business needs and ensure they are accommodated within the daily operation.
• Liaise with the head office, the management team and the software development team to ensure local requirements are delivered.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the business requirements and ensure from a user manages perspective the solutions are user friendly.
• Proactively anticipate line manager’s information needs on a daily, weekly and monthly mandatory cycle.
• Assist the testing team to prepare the system test cases, integration test cases & user acceptance testing.
• Actively involved in user acceptance testing.
• Provided an effective operational and financial management of the business units and act, as a member of the store management team, in order to ensure that sales and financial objectives are achieved, in accordance with the business plans of the company.
