Job Purpose:
The Sales & Marketing Manager (SMM) will be responsible for developing and executing the VOX Cinemas Bahrain integrated sales & marketing strategy, while ensuring consistent delivery of the brand messaging to its internal and external stakeholders, across all channels. The role includes managing advertising, PR & communications, events, customer acquisition, market research, loyalty, partnerships and social media.
Role Responsibilities - Including but not limited to;

Planning and Leadership
• Plan and deliver VOX Cinemas Bahrain’s overall integrated sales, marketing and communications strategy
• Support budgets, development and monitor expenditure.
• Develop reports and measure success against company and departmental goals and KPIs.
• Conduct research, analyze market conditions and competitor data to support marketing strategy.
• Be a visible, reliable figurehead of the Marketing function internally and externally in VOX Bahrain.
• Promote a culture that reflects the organization’s values, encourages good performance, and rewards productivity.
Marketing and Communications
• Maintain, protect and consistently communicate the VOX Cinemas brand, including its vision, mission strategy and positioning.
• Create and develop marketing plans and campaigns to support key initiatives, new launches, promotions and events.
• Manage all aspects of print production, receipt and distribution.
• Develop and implement the annual communications plan including but not limited to public and media relations, content creation (online and offline), social media and engagement, crisis communications, features and analysis.
• Serve as brand ambassador, managing and leveraging local media to drive awareness, demand, and audience engagement.
• Develop relationships with key journalists and reporters locally and regionally.
• Serve as the main point of contact to media, journalists and reporters.
• Manage internal and external communication with key stakeholders, property owners and partners.
• Achieve frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media in coordination with the PR agency.
• Help develop, grow and maintain VOX Cinemas Bahrain customer and client database.
• Develop relationships with key media platforms online and offline, organize barter deals to minimize advertising costs and keep the VOX Cinemas brand top of mind.
Sales
• Develop and execute the VOX Bahrain annual sales strategy
• Create asset register and price it as per market and competitor rates
• Pitch and propose revenue deals with key corporate partnerships such as banks, telecommunication companies and other strategic business partners.
• Conduct direct selling to corporate clients, schools, event companies and government institutions for group bookings.
• Increase revenue from private bookings and birthdays by creating and implementing a brand strategy for VOX Kids and IMAX edutainment in conjunction with the Regional Senior Marketing Manager.
• Implement promotional campaigns to identify and capitalize on opportunities to create demand within the market, grow market share substantially with improved admissions and increase spend per head.
Social Media and Digital
• Develop and execute in Bahrain the VOX Cinemas social media strategy including content creation and social customer service
• Monitor social media trends and their impact on the brand and adapt when it is a fit with the brand
• Work closely with E-commerce to develop paid advertising campaigns
• Responsible for tracking, measurement and analysis of campaign results; use analysis for campaign optimization and continued improvement
• Develop Email communications calendars in conjunction with UAE Head Office Marketing team
Projects
• Ad hoc projects as requested by the Marketing Director & Senior Marketing Manager.
