The selected individual will visit customer sites to inspect various facilities, conduct American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Level 2 energy, and water consumption audits.
The job also requires the selected individual to identify, document, and evaluate existing conditions, establish an energy consumption baseline, model data, run simulations, quantify energy usage based on functions, benchmark/compare the facility’s energy and water consumption with other similar facilities, identify/explore energy saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to improve energy efficiency and water consumption.
The individual will coordinate with multiple stakeholders in arranging for the audit, review current and historical energy and water data, walk the facility and conduct the audit; prepare energy assessment studies; complete engineering calculations related to energy savings, identify Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), develop cost estimates for the ECMs and provide recommendations based on lifecycle and payback analysis.
The selected person shall also be capable of developing well-written pre and post project evaluation reports that meet and continuously exceed the customer expectations.
Additionally, the individual will also serve as the coordination and contact point for the customer during the implementation and completion of the recommended project opportunities and work with field engineers, contract specialists, and customer to continually meet the energy goals.
