Our client is currently seeking a Corporate Communications Associate to join their team in Bahrain.

Description
- Proactively undertake all media and social media monitoring.- Undertake the drafting/updating and distribution of Communications policies and procedures- Research and maintain a calendar of all industry awards, manage submission process and draft Communication announcements.- Manage translations and quality control of external translation service- Develop content related to Communications activity including, but not limited to: research, drafting, editing and approval of content such as: news flashes, communications updates, client letters/correspondence, preparation of major presentations, briefing packs, content for staff town halls etc.- Undertake research into event venues scope out suitability, costs etc. Develop proposals for team approval and review- Coordinate the collation of branded items, including but not limited to; client greeting cards, merchandise, maintaining stock and inventory levels and ensuring all items are recharged as required- Ensure that communications and files received from Group and or external agencies are saved electronically in a timely and efficient manner.- Manage the regional SMS communications portal and ensure that Crisis contact lists are regularly update- Support the Management Team in times of a wider crisis, ensuring that updates are received/issued in a relevant, timely and accurate manner, including the cascade global press releases, holding statements, Q&A's, management announcements locally internally.- Due to the nature and sensitivities of this role, the incumbent will be required to be responsive and work outside of normal working hours.


Profile
- Minimum of 4 - 6 years working in a corporate environment in a Marketing or Communications role- Solid writing and proofing skills in UK English with expert understanding of spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills- Accuracy- Professionalism and utmost confidentiality- Ability to be extremely proactive and reactive- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
