A day in the life of a Policy & Procedure Advisor: (role and responsibilities)
As a Policy & Procedure Advisor you will be a part of our fast paced HR & Organizational Excellence Department, reporting directly to the Manager of HR & Organizational Excellence Department Director.
This person is responsible for analyzing, researching and developing policy and procedural documentation for all departments across the company.
This role requires critical thinking and communication skills to ensure consistency and accuracy of implementation and understanding. In addition, you can expect to:
• Monitor Council’s policies ensuring current and new policies are reviewed through the policy work programme.
• Manage and maintain process and procedural documentation, following regulatory guidance.
• Act as key resource and develop communication to ensure alignment with current requirements, laws and best practices.
• Research, analyze data, identify and makes recommendations for continuous improvement of risk management related activities and/or all departments policies and practices.
• Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization to ensure completion of all required approvals.
• Provide input on processes and procedures within the operational risk management framework.
• Take an active role in directing and managing his/her own knowledge and experience base.
