1. Planning and preparing stock orders to be placed with suppliers and to the factory.
2. Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
3. Locate vendors of jewelry and negotiate terms of purchase.
4. Correspondence with all suppliers regarding orders, payments and delivery dates.
5. Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders.
6. Periodic audit of Brand and collections data in ERP.
7. Allocating Brand, Line and Collection attributes to all new items from factory and suppliers.
8. Study of fast selling collections and suggestions/adjustments in reorders according to the sales.
9. Analysis of combined monthly sales and detailed study in comparison with last month to ascertain the trends every month/season.
10. Analysis of stock monthly to monitor balance stock of fast moving collections.
11. Suggestion of rotation of stock if required based on best-selling shops or under-stocked shops.
12. Analysis of slow moving collections and recommendations of rotation, promotion or melting accordingly.
13. Assurance of optimum stock levels based on analysis in all shops at a given time. This includes placing reorders with factory and suppliers on time with appropriate quantities within allotted budget.
14. Assistance with implementation of stock rotation when and where required by team members.
15. Day to day follow-ups with logistics department about movement of jewellery from suppliers to all regions and vice versa.
16. Day to day follow-ups with accounts department regarding payments to suppliers.
17. Non-scheduled analysis of various supplier items and collections to monitor their sales and trends. This is required as the product and collection range is huge and not all collections get covered in weekly or monthly analysis.
18. Search for particular design or collection on request of management for some customers.
19. Preparing minor stock and sales reports for various collections or designs for management and some suppliers almost every day.
20. Prepare analysis reports regarding market conditions and merchandise cost.
21. Building and managing seasonal category plans to meet financial goals.
